I recently watched a video from 5 years ago talking about how the forth-coming mattress pads would make the A350 seats more comfortable. That made me realize the first time I flew AF J a year and a half ago, there were still no mattress pads. I see their recent press release says they're finally rolling out starting in July but won't be on all J seats until end of the year. Amazing how long it can take an airline to roll out something so seemingly simple as a mattress pad. I'm flying SEA CDG in J late July, and guessing that we probably won't have it.
