We booked JAL ORD-HND on CX. However, because CX membership sign up page did not have option to input suffix after last name, my husband's JAL booking does not include his suffix "III". His name on his passport John Doe III. The JAL booking shows John Doe. Googled and some say the suffix doesn't matter but there are anecdotal stories of someone with missing/misspelled middle names being denied boarding. I will try to get it corrected via CX but I worry that if that involves cancelling and rebooking, we may lose the award space. We have the same issue in the family with the suffix and it's so frustrating because many airlines systems cannot accommodate the suffix and they are all different.
I am trying to figure out how to register my husband for JAL MileageBank account. It says spaces are not allowed and there is no "suffix" field, so I don't know where to put it.
