One place where UA does distinguish itself is in the Premium Economy soft product. UA's PP meals are usually one or two of the same options for Polaris. In comparison, NH, DL, and others will serve the same meal as coach. It's not the full Polaris experience by any means, but it's maybe 70% of the way there.
I think perhaps the biggest upgrade here for the PP cabin is number of seats. 35 seats for a 789 feels about right. We all know from the absurd upsell costs for the PP cabin that supply hasn't been meeting demand for it for some time.
