Industry is moving towards doors. Few airlines used the old/current Optima seats. While Optima can be optioned with doors, no airline has done so. The new 2.0 Adient Ascent seats are used by several airlines so costs should be lower through volume.
Optima Polaris 1.0 is denser than American Airline's Adient Ascent per Aerolopa. Don't know how different AA / UA seats are though.
