Can they cram more seats in Polaris?

Or maybe the cost of the individual pods are more standardized and lower because now all the window seats are the same?

I guess they are modernizing the IFE, with OLED displays, USB-C. Presumably bluetooth too and maybe if there's a way to cast or AirPlay from your devices onto that screen ...
Polaris 1.0 was “let’s see how many J seats we can cram into the aircraft.” For the most part, it was successful and a big improvement over IPTE seats. But then people started complaining that the even numbered Polaris seats weren’t as comfortable as the odd numbered seats. Now that the Polaris 1.0 improvements are dated, they want to install larger screens, and I suspect that the increased seat commonality is a bit more cost effective. And sadly, because they feel the need to add doors, a consistent seat design makes that easier as well.
