I'll admit i'm not the target demographic but seems like:
1) fewer seats available for upgrade
2) doors? meh
3) harder to sit by/see out of windows? a big MEEH

4) The +1 seating on the other hand seems like a nice blend of individual seats for sleeping but somewhere to sit when awake - vs. needing the middle two with the wall down
(again a pro for a big window seat person here)
