Today was hot and sunny (28 celsius per my phone)
started today at fushimi inari shrine. It was very busy and slow moving going up the first section of torrii gates but if you persevered the crowds thinned out especially after the crossroads as you made the loop round mt inari
went to tofukuji temple and compared to fushimi inari it was almost like a private temple with so few people
after a dip in the hotel pool to relax went to shoseien garden which was beautiful.
after dinner went along the river bank at sunset then to yasaka shrine then walked to the now closed kiyomizudera shrine along some deserted streets (few people at the pagoda). It really is a completely different experience at night compared to braving the masses during the day( first time doing this at night and enjoyed it)

Crowds af fushimi inari shrine

Still managed to get some nice torrii gate photos with no one in them

The bridge at tofukuji temple. This would be beautiful in autumn

Garden af tofukuji temple. So peaceful

Small bridge at shanseien garden

Entrance to yasaka temple at dusk . Still busy with food stall still serving

View of the pagoda near kiyomizudera. Still busy here with lots of people taking photos

Virtually Empty street at night near kiyomizudera
Regards
