There is a LOPA for a 77W in the new configuration, as well as a standard 787-9 (low J?). I believe it when they say there are no public plans right now for a retrofit program but that's absolutely subject (and likely, IMO) to change. The 77W fleet and existing 787s will eventually need new cabins.
Let's wait for the official UA presser and comments at this evening's event.
