Just received a similar email now about focus groups in SF (I live in Bay Area) and NY. Answered the screeners - I suspect I am/about to be routed out if for not one of my other answers, because I have (in the past) worked at a Pr agency and have also in the past, and have household member currently, working in marketing.

after completing the screener, I got this message, which seems like I think I was screened out, but doesn’t outright say it:

Thank you for participating in this research project. We appreciate your time and interest in taking this survey, and hope you’ll continue to participate in marketing research.

Would have been fun to participate, but I’m pretty sure that was a we don’t want you.
