I'm not sure if anyone really knows a hard limit (like the Chase 5/24 rule). I don't think Barclays cares about 24 months so much as how many hard TU inquiries you've had in the past 12 months.

Again, this is mostly anecdotal (I don't think there's ever been a leaked/published guideline for Barclay).

I'd say 4/6 is almost a recipe for disaster. 4/12 probably have a decent chance of approval (all other things being equal).

I checked my Experian report but can check TU and Equifax to see what those show before I try applying.
