The Le Meridien was quite a good experience, and it makes sense as it is a lot cheaper than the Westin next door. Here are my impressions and photos:
Note: There is work being done during the day. I could hear this on Monday - unclear what work is being done.
Pros:
- Upgraded to an Oriental Suite (full suite) Non-Smoking
- Living room couch and chairs are comfortable and large
- Bed is comfortable - medium mattress, plush covers, plush pillows
- Shower pressure from the rainfall head is good
- Staff was very friendly
- Offered 4 PM late checkout
- Evening lounge dessert offering was tasty
- Breakfast offered either in lounge or restaurant without welcome gift choice - enjoyed the restaurant breakfast - good omelet, good manakish, great French toast, machine coffees but not bad
Neutral:
- WiFi was generally fine but did drop a couple of times
Cons:
- Exterior windows were very dirty
- Some of the outlets were very hard to plug things into, making them not usable as I don’t want to break my plugs
I would come back.
