I waited until the last possible moment to make a reservation at this lounge after losing arrival privileges due to DL changing to an inferior lounge at FCO. I was using the Flighty app + DL app to confirm my flight would arrive on time at FCO.
Just as I was preparing to go to the airport, the Flighty app warned about a delay for the ATL-FCO flight. I would later learn that the incoming flight from FCO was on time but had maintenance issues. DL then flew the same aircraft from DTW, but that aircraft also had maintenance issues including even after the aircraft was fully loaded and the door closed.
I was asking if anyone knew how the company would respond to this scenario. I may contact them first then add this to my complaint to DL about the impact of such a late arrive at FCO due to maintance issues.
