With FC now printed on boarding passes it is pretty clear. And for the last few flights in FC, I can say I like it.
We already tried this method though- this is the old AA way. First, Priority AAccess etc.
I don't think the majority of the EXP crowd are dumb enough to think that group 1 is what matters. Its when they board.
Regardless, I dont particularly care what the boarding order is, as long as it is properly enforced.

The cards say "preferred". T&Cs say "
Eligible cardmembers will board after priority boarding is complete, but before the rest of economy boarding. The boarding benefit will display on your American Airlines boarding pass as group 5."
