Your wife can call, authenticate herself, and then instruct them to speak with you. Don't become distracted if the agent invents a fictitious "explanation" for the problems. Stay focused on what you want to accomplish. 1) Ask the agent to make the points transfer for you. 2) Ask the agent to change the telephone number on the account.

Many cardholders no longer have the email option: Chase removes email option for verification codes.
