Odd Fare Pricing on LHR-LCA

Wondering if anyone can shed a light on this:

The cost of flights between LHR and LCA shoots up from ~£70 to £280+ on 19 March 2026 and doesn't drop back down again until 15 April.

Ordinarily, I'd put this down to BA increasing prices to make the most of the Easter holidays (as usual), but ...

(a) School holidays don't appear to start until 30 March, so increasing prices as early as 19 March seems odd and,
(b) Flights between LGW and LCA continue to be priced at ~£70 until 25 March making it even odder (to me) that LHR-LCA is priced at either £302 or £642 on the same dates.

Why the big discrepancy in pricing? Is there an obvious reason (that I'm missing) why BA would do this?

Thanks for any insights.
