We just did this last week. Caught the National Express at T5 going to Gatwick South and walked over to the Hilton. Very easy. Our arriving flight was early, baggage and immigration was very fast and though we didn't purchase a flex ticket, we asked and about catching a earlier bus. The bus to LGW South wasn't busy and the driver said it wouldn't be a problem After a long flight it was appreciated. Overall it was a good experience.
