Every time I see more pictures or video of the property, it just looks cheap and boring. I am not doubting the good experience of our posters - I often see disconnect between Instagram vs real life (except this is the reverse) and care more about experience on the ground than pictures. I wouldn't write this place off, but man, is it kind of ugly in pictures (by luxury standards).
Lets say it this way. We are going here because FNA's are expiring. If we have to pay out of pocket, I would never go CR.
This also applies to Andaz Papagayo. That place was category 4 a long time ago which means you were able to redeem Hyatt FNA. Now it is cat 8 (40,000 points). There are tons of cat 8 property out there, where you can have better redemption quality.
