Hello,

I am rather new to the upgrading game as I usually book Business or First tickets and now I booked a cheap economy ticket MUC-LAX-MUC return and wanted to upgrade the LAX-MUC flight from economy to business. I would rather not spend my miles for it but either bid or pay fixed price.
The flight is in 9 days and currently fixed price upgrade would be at 1500 Eur for the return flight. ( It was 1900 a day ago, it did go down, but I am not sure if this is an indicator)
what are my best shots?
Is there any possibility to check how the flight is booked?
Checking open seats doesn't really give the whole picture is that right?
