Given the entirety of your last post on that thread, plus your last comment about your Garuda experience being much better than Batik, I may try for Garuda for this leg despite it being a less palatable flight time (early AM). Interestingly, Garuda is also $30 cheaper. I will have to use Batik two other times during this trip, so I guess I'll get that experience regardless. Good to know about Trip.com. Batik also appears to be bookable via Expedia as well. I'm just always wary of OTAs vs. booking directly with the airline.
