Just a friendly reminder to move Avios from BA -> QR BEFORE booking.

For my experience, I had 200K in my BA, and didn't think much of it since it still allowed me to book 2x Saver J.
However, despite QR charging my card for the fees, I kept getting mixed status of my booking: "Confirmed" on the web, "On Hold" in the app but whenever I click on "Confirm Booking" to pay, it would just return to the booking page w/o any way to pay.
Also noticed that my Avios balance was still 200K. And my trip receipt would show 0 Avios + Taxes/Fees, so I knew something was off.

Called and they kept saying that my card payment was returned. I check my AMEX, and indeed it has been returned. AMEX rep said it was fine on their end and it was QR who rejected the payment.
After a long call, had the QR rep cancel my flight, and the flight showed up immediately to rebook.
Checked this thread and moved my Avios to QR, and booking went fine.
