Absolute madness. Not sure why an airline of NZ’s size, coupled with the problems it is currently facing, needs 8 (if you include EP1, Elt Partner, and Koru) levels of loyalty status!!
Because after elite or banked year. People split loyalty. Adding another tier means people will stay loyal to AirNZ for more flights.
Lifetime status could also help keep people loyal.
