A no-status friend in Y had some irrops today, so I tested it out in the app. The functionality to switch airports within 300 miles and dates up to seven days out is still there, but the workflow is a little different. It will by default search for the same airport pair and the next available flights, but if you hit the edit search button at the top (with the pencil and notepad symbol), you can change airports and dates there.
Wow, bury the functionality in a click soup, and it will get used less. Mission accomplished! And without any announcement - “we have now made the travel changes you are accustomed to more complicated - are you ready to click?”
