Hi all,

I’m trying to use my Chase IHG One Rewards Credit Card Free Night certificates (the 60K-point ones — I have 5) to book a stay at a property that costs 70K points per night.

I had assumed I’d be able to top up the difference with points, as I’ve done in the past with the 40K certificates, but the website isn’t giving me that option. I just came across a blog post suggesting that the 60K certs don’t allow topping up — is that actually the case?

If so, are there any known workarounds? I’d even be open to converting the 60K certs into 40K ones if that somehow made topping up possible.
