I did get an e mail from Briggs today for my 29 inch Torq. It is unrepairable - I knew that just by looking at it.
The offer is $500 credit towards a new bag of my choice or wait for a demo bag to show up in their warehouse. The phrasing of the. email makes it sound like it could be a while to get a demo unit. Considering that I paid $300 or so for my 2018 Torq that part isn't bad. However that isn't the warranty that is indicated on the B&R website. The website seems to indicate whatever happens to your bag we will take care of it. That is true for a repair but not for a replacement. There should be some indication of that twist. I didn't buy the Torq because of the warranty - it was a great deal on Amazon. Certainly after 7 years and a ton of trips I got my moneys worth.
I will probably spend the extra money and get the Baseline 29 inch instead of another Torq. My thought is that cloth is repairable while polycarbonate is not - especially from bigger drops off a cart on the runway. The bag is fairly heavy when we use it and that extra weight contributes to an impact when dropped.
