Stayed for a couple of nights over Easter. Firstly, it is an easy 2 hour drive from Calais so a reasonable long-weekend destination for those living in the south-east of the UK. I arrived before official check-in time and my room wasn't ready. I was advised to wait as I had been allocated a great room. It did take a lot longer to get into the room than I was originally told, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Hotel is split into the historic building and the modern building - my room was in the historic part which seemed a lot nicer to me. The only issue was going to the spa involved walking through reception (whereas the new building had direct access). I booked a Queen Premium and received a Junior Suite (Diamond Ambassador) which had a wrap around balcony with entrances from the living room and bathroom. There was also a walk in wardrobe. Welcome gift of fruit and an Easter Egg appeared which was really nice.

Dining seems to be in the bar - the quality of the food was excellent as would be expected in France, although really expensive (the Opera restaurant was only open for breakfast or as an overflow when the bar was full). As nicolas75 said, breakfast quality was really good too - definitely worth going for meats, cheeses, breads, etc rather than the cooked food though.

They went through each line of the bill on check-out which is a good thing as they had charged me for breakfast (despite me taking this as my welcome amenity). Overall, a really superb hotel despite a few minor issues.
