If you're planning on going to SOJ from TOS I strongly recomend the bus in one direction due to the amazing views along the road. Wild camping is very safe and due to the 'allemannsretten' (basically a law saying that everyone in general has access to everyones property) you can camp basically anywhere (not like in peoples gardens,but elsewhere in the 'wild').
I only have a day in TOS but I do see that I could fly back that night from SOJ for only $50... which bus line would I want to take? Google Maps shows several options. As for the camping, yep I'm familiar with the law. The only thing I can't seem to figure out is the fine if you do break the rules like you accidentally end up within 150m of cultivated land. Even so, I'll be using my trusty army issued 1 man tent. You're not seeing me until you're right next to me haha.
