Thanks for the recent positive reviews. Agree that the rooms overlooking the atrium are quite dark - I quite like staying in them and looking out of the window at what's going on in the atrium. I didn't realise just how many rooms Emirates takes, although mostly there is at least one crew (with checked bags perfectly lined up) waiting in the small seating area in front of the reception desks for the shuttle.
Yes, all the crew's luggage neatly lined up and the crew sitting and waiting for their shuttle bus. We also saw the crew from an arriving Emirates flight being checked in. Amazing how quick they were all allocated their rooms. One of the front desk agents checked them in at the Concierge desk and they were all gone to their rooms within a few minutes!
