KROMO Bangkok is now taking reservations from 1 October. Points stays are available, but they mostly seem to follow cash, suggesting a high standard room rate of probably 70-80k points (a lot in Bangkok, where there hasn't been a lot of inflation of points rates). Cash rates usually mean that real world points rates are lower, in the 50k range, but that's unlikely to be a points bargain with a cash rate in the 6,500 THB range in mid-November and other comparable properties with a significant saving on points. The cash rate looks to be a bit pricey but probably about right if you specifically want the location on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 29 (opposite the Holiday Inn, west of the Hilton and DT Sukhumvit) and, of course, the decor and condition should be top notch - although it's further from BTS than those properties, or indeed the Hilton Asoke.
