Datapoint: my DTW-EWR flight tomorrow was canceled. They rebooked me on DTW-ORD-EWR. I later called to change to DTW-ORD-LGA. The options the app was showing me was not to my liking, which is why I had to call. All I'll say is that it's annoying, to cancel my flight around 12h before departure.
