MCT at HIA is 45 minutes. That said, I connect through Doha often, and always schedule at least 90 minutes. I hate being rushed.

Since you seem to know the destinations which are more prone to bus gates, you can schedule more time for your connecting flights to/from them.

Well, it may not be much consolation, but it's the same if you miss the flight because of weather, mechanical problems, etc. Things don't always go according to plan when one travels. If one has a critical meeting or similar, probably best to plan for delays when you schedule your flights and depart earlier, leave longer connecting times, etc. When I was on a much tighter schedule than I am now, I always planned to arrive the day before important meetings.
