One of the destinations I'm looking at is DXB, and that is only EWR (on UA), and the costs are great for my dates...
But just curious what the folks here think of what things will be like for International flights and I'm guessing that TPA flights are pretty safe?
Thoughts?
A lot of FL flights are direct turns from EWR.
As is always the saying, if everything is on time, then no issues...but flights could easily run into delays at origin (for those w/ direct turns), or even if the inbound arrives on time, your departing flights runs into multiple hours of delays to curb number of arrivals.
If you have to travel on UA via EWR, I would book longer connections to be on the safe side, which could still pose some risks but you'd have greater buffers.
