If you'd like to take it up with Kirby/UA for spreading incorrect information then please do. But that is the phrase that is used and I make no assumptions on what the specifics of the actions are, between quitting forever or being tired and deciding to end a shift early. It is highly logical that it is the latter, but it is clear that ATC staffing was made even worse than planned due to some kind of controller action.
Just because there is a corporate press release stating something that does not make it true and don’t think it should be echoed. That is the point I was making.
