I went to a lounge recently (Seattle?), and there was a line of people waiting to put in their name. I didn’t want to be rude, so I waited the two minutes. When I reached the front, I showed her my card. She immediately pulled me in and said, “Next time you can just go to the front of the line!”

I replied, “Yeah... but I didn’t want to be ‘that guy’ and skip ahead while everyone is waiting.”

She winked and said, “Think of this as your private club. Don’t feel bad.”
