I have been trying to buy a published ORD-MNL money plus miles fare for several days but the transaction won't go through. It lets me put in all the information but at the end the website freezes and the app gives me an error message "can't complete transaction".
- I have tried with Chrome and DuckDuckGo.
- I have turned my computer off and on again. I have logged out and logged back in.
- I have tried on the app.
- I have called customer service and given them the cart number for the itinerary, but they advise that they can't see or complete a miles and money transactions. Just money or miles are accessible to customer service.
- I called customer service a second time and got the same answer. They also mentioned that the only cart numbers they can see are 10 digits, and the cart generated by the website for money and miles. I asked if there was an escalation path, was on hold while a supervisor was consulted, and was advised that phone support can't help.
- I tried yesterday and today, no change.
- I asked the customer service rep to send a ticket to their web team to resolve whatever problem exists.
- My available credit on the card I am using far exceeds the fare involved. I am Premier Platinum,
Have I missed any possible ways to complete this transaction?
Am I the only one, or are others experiencing the same issue?
