I’ve got an upcoming layover, landing 19:30 and departing 10:00 the following morning. Never been to Dallas before so was thinking about jumping in an Uber to stay Downtown in the hope of seeing ‘something’ the city has to offer - worthwhile?

If answer to the above is no, which ‘off-site’ hotel has something to offer? I can’t really justify the £3-400 rates the two terminal hotels are asking on my dates, but spoilt for choice elsewhere. Does anywhere have a roof top bar with views, something very local to see some ‘culture’, standard rooms with a good night time view etc?

Gosh this airport and vicinity seem massive so thanks in advance…!
