Thanks for the quick response. I don't have luggage checked, but it seems the odds would be stacked against me. I haven't actually booked the BA flight yet, as I wanted to hear FT wisdom first. Might do a burner Avois booking if it's cheap one to see if I can make it.

If you have checked bags then this transfer will be impossible. You’d have to clear immigration, collect your bags and make your way land side to T3 and recheck your luggage. BA desks close at T-45 mins at MAN. The walk from T1 to T3 is about 5-10 minutes with luggage.
