I too fly frequently between HKG and MNL. I have once flown in the A321 neo and never again. I was in what CX laughingly calls Business Class. On an A321 it is only Premium Economy but priced as Business Class. The way CX squeezes the seats into aircraft is unconscionable, 2-3-2 in Business in a substantial part of its regional fleet, and seats almost in the toilet in both regional and long haul Business, all to grasp an extra dollar. CX seems obsessed with screens and quite disregards bodily comfort and privacy. I think that Sir John must be turning in his grave.
