How far in advance do I need to cancel? 1 minute before the pickup time? 3 hours before? Or? Because at some point prior to pick up time they make it impossible to cancel your reservation online. And if you are on a plane that is running late you can't call their reservations phone line to make changes or cancel.

Can you cancel a rental car reservation?

Yes, of course you can cancel a rental car reservation. If you no longer feel you need to hire the car or you wish to cancel to rebook with a different card, just let us know at least 48 hours before pickup. Cancellation fees may be incurred if less than 48 hours notice is given.
