There are absolutely no concerns with safety until there is any news or evidence otherwise. I don't agree with them being a "much smaller company" - whether it be number of planes, or passenger numbers, or financials.

The only concern you may have is that the F cabin is indeed getting a bit dated. However, while it may not have that "wow" factor anymore, it is still one of the most comfortable seats in the sky.
