If you do have an DL eBP, even if the purple pass is earlier in the day, it still worked for me.
…but logistically, inbound (on arrival) to airports has been a problem if you don’t have onward flight, as others have noted. Because you can’t get back in…
BOS has specific rules regarding not allowing AF/KL J passengers. This is due to size limitations. (Basically DL built lounge way too small to handle all DL/AF/KL/KE passengers at one time)
