PHL-ZHR was definitely less competition for AA compared to NYC. However it also made sense bringing it back to PHL a few years ago: Chemical and pharmaceutical companies in Philly and Wilmington buy this flight. Now, why they’re getting the new seats is just guess it’s down to flight lengths and # of business seats sold. This route may do better than CDG etc due to the business travelers.
