Then there were some long-rumoured (pre-COVID) rebranding of The Maxims Hotel at Resorts World Manila being rebranded as an RC, but nothing definitive as of the past year.
Marriott's Philippines page shows some interesting placeholders for:
- CY and Marriott Caticlan (Boracay)
- CY, 4P, JW in Cebu
- FI, 4P in Davao
- 4P, StR in Manila
- Element Puerto Princesa
