Also as an in general; best bet is just to choose emergency seat. It usually doesn't cost that much extra (like 20 ish eur), but you'll know for sure you should have enough leg room.
Also due to guidelines etc the width is far more consistent than what you'd find in J or XL seats etc
Agree with this. I travel with easyJet a lot and can pretty much always get exit row seats with more legroom. KLM Economy Comfort seats are also have a bit more room for not much more money.
