Delta is still relatively new, so perhaps there is more consistency. It will be interesting to see what happens as the brand ages.
I'd disagree that Delta is new. While they've only been under Marriott for a decade, I can recall Delta hotels in Canada going back as far as the mid 70's and I believe the first Delta's arrived sometime in the 1960's.
