That was me sputtering, and as I said in the initial post, I have no other details. Just a water cooler rumour.
Aircraft orders are material events, so it won’t appear on any kind of internal memo etc until AC announces it publicly.
However, things such as the crew rest facility on a new aircraft type must be approved by ALPA so that sort of activity will inevitably generate rumours.
