They know the hotel grounds are old, it's still being renovated however the process is slow. The lounge was ok, lounge staff very nice enough and encourage me to eat everything. The hotel grounds is definitely older but I really liked the staff and service.
Yeah, I'd probably stay again but I'm also Titanium at Marriott and might try that Marriott at the mall, just for convenience but it's hard for me to hate on a property that isn't cheap with upgrades and has a nice staff. I'm paying under $100 a night in a off the beaten path city in Indonesia, I have my expectations in check.
If anyone wants real luxury, I haven't posted a review but I stayed at the Keraton which is the Hyatt next to the Grand Hyatt in Jakarta. Go there and pay the $250 a night and it's really nice.
