I enjoyed a five-night stay. The pre-arrival email mentioned that the pool was being renovated.

The hotel restoration is north of 90% complete. The Executive Lounge will (finally) open in mid-May and a formal hotel Grand Re-Opening is scheduled for late May. A second (Asian) restaurant will open later this year.

The renovation was luxury in every way. The fine touches are noticeable even in the little things. The service level and attention to detail are exemplary. The staff are well trained, and management is present throughout the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was bountiful and the waitstaff was welcoming and attentive. Bonus points for offering a local newspaper (yes, I'm a dinosaur).

As a Titanium, I was upgraded to an Executive Suite on a high floor. The JW Suites and the Presidential Suite were in their final stages of renovation and unavailable.

I recommend without reservation and look forward to visiting again next year.
