Fortunately this is generally just abstract. Given I can’t sleep well on planes, I tend to value the overall experience but, yes, lie flat and all aisle are essentials. Crucially I only enjoy the flight if all the elements are good. On airlines so far this year, LX and SQ have been fantastic. NZ fails on the seat, UA fails on food and service and BA fails on everything non-flight related.
