A Marriott hotel that is like a Marriott. I was told that the occupancy is usually high, had many Ambassador guests (some of them that used to go to the Westin) and only 8 suites.
The location is fine, somewhat convenient, but it ain't Rue Castiglione and Rue de Rivoli, in front of the Jardin des Tuileries with an incredible view.
The hotel is definitely better maintained than the Westin was and the cleaning staff (probably in-house, unlike at the Westin) do a better job.
The check-in and check-out were handled by nice FD staff members.
The food at the lounge is decent, but the staff is not exactly friendly, except one tall guy that was pleasant.
The suite, I stayed had, had been renovated and had nice views, mostly above the roofs.
The chances to be upgraded to a suite seem very low at this property, so I don't know if this is the right hotel for regular stays, when you have a higher status.
