I understand the desire to fly the A380 just once if possible. BUT, unless the A380 is significantly cheaper, considering that comfort is a priority, I would take one of the non-stops. Remember that to get to that A380, you'd have to be smushed on a domestic narrowbody for a couple of hours, and be adding the risk of the connection. Any marginal comfort that might be found on the A380 could be outweighed by that.
